About The Founder, AnnaRose Rotondi-Kauser
On her thirtieth birthday weekend, she was feeling melancholy about getting… “old.” On a whim she found herself down in Miami and as she was swimming out in the ocean she had an ah-ha moment, “I’m out here swimming while it’s a blizzard back home in NYC. I can still do anything I put my mind to!”
She swam ashore, pulled out her notebook, started jotting down some hopes and dreams that had been on her mind, including some of the names and flavor blends we know and love today, and of course doodling the Oh You, TEAse logo with the signature lipstick kiss.
Since launching in 2016 (the same year she “launched” her bundle of joy) this single mama is still single-handedly running the show. As the daughter of business owners, growing up in a Brooklyn restaurant-pizzeria, she’s always had an entrepreneurial spirit.
AnnaRose is fun, cheerful and optimistic, and she truly aims to infuse those characteristics into her tea. Her philosophy is that tea should be fun and bring happiness to all those who drink it.
She’s a firm believer in spreading positiviTEA wherever she goes. When she’s not working, she’s most likely planning a party, collecting sea shells or designing a DIY-project.
